The same thing happens to me. It never blinks when there is a new PM, but it does blink later on (usually days or weeks later). Go figure.

To be exact it happens when I open a new Firefox window and then I cannot get rid of the message. If I open the board in an already opened window where I had opened it before I won't get any blinking message. Problems with session management?
