Hi all - I have a question re: the NWEA MAP test results and 2E kids. Should these students show overall progress being made each time testing occurs? I did read the link on the NWEA site re: negative growth, but it pointed more towards student behaviors as the root cause, which I completely understand. What about no growth? My dd has had the same math score for 4 testing sessions since 4th grade. Reading is up and down for the most part, but I'm pretty sure from what dd has stated as her scores (school has not given us her score report), there's been little to no growth at all for a very long time. Are goals supposed to be set even for students who are already performing in the higher end of the range (> or = to 99th%'ile)? If there is no growth, then how could this be addressed if the school is not willing to do any sort of acceleration because of the 2E issues (ex. work completion, processing speed, etc)?

Thanks!
