Hello, all! My son will be in 8th grade next year and he has taken all the math our school offers so the plan is for him to take Honors Algebra II, Trig and Precalculus using online classes as an independent study while at school next year. I'm not sure what program to use and have looked at Connections Academy, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern. Does anyone have experience with these or others? I want to make sure he has a transcript with a grade, and a good foundation so that he can take calculus with confidence as a high school freshman. We need a program that is self-paced as he will cruise through Algebra II quickly. Any advice is much appreciated.

Your state likely has a virtual school network. In Wisconsin we have Eachieve and Wisconsin E-School Network (WeN). My son has taken WeN classes, which are awesome for flexible pacing.
