For those interested in astronomy, and/or "The Christmas Star" ... have you been watching The Great Conjunction?

Beginning in late October or early November, on our evening walks, we noticed and commented on two very bright stars, low in the SW, soon after sunset... which appeared to be noticeably closer each week.

On about December 10, when we first heard of "The Christmas Star" aka "The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn," we were sure that is what we have been seeing.

The effect is described as being visible for a few more weeks... so maybe until January 11, 2021 or so.
