I have been a message board poster for a very long time and this was such a funny read for me because I have seem just about every one of those tactics used before.

Trolls can be fun for about 60 seconds. Then it just gets boring.

Hey all,

Thanks for the support. I think we are pretty much on the same page by now.
Let's not add anymore to this thread. I don't want the field book to get buried. I'd like to leave it front and center as I feel it is wonderful descriptive tool that helps identify posters who are not legit.

I suppose it would be worthwile to start another thread to continue discussion.

Trolls, ugh.

The guy who wrote this pretty much summed up trolls and what they do. They're pretty easy to spot and avoid:

I would read this "field guide" if you haven't already.
