He is doing great in his two day a week school, he even has FRIENDS! More importantly we've discovered why he's still in pull ups. Besides the encopresis, he also has disynergia and megacolon. We finally got to a GI specialist and got the analrectalmonography test. He couldn't feel anything until there were 8 tablespoons of air injected, most people can feel one. He's starting biofeedback tomorrow (if he's feeling like complying...) and everyone says that should fix it. If that's the care he'll be out of pull ups and off Miralax hopefully by next school year AND he's adjusted to school so well I might not have to act as his aide at all anymore! Yay!

Wyldkat - that is excellent news! So glad you've been able to find the cause. I can't imagine what a vacation it will feel like for you to have some time to yourself next year! Glad things are looking up.

Yay. I can sympathise with the toileting issues. Mine isn't in pull Ups any more but I feel like I will never be able to go anywhere without an 'emergency' bag.
