My son is a mathy, spatial kind of kid. I was thinking of having him try the Naglieri or NNAT test. I contacted psychologists and they don't carry it- apparently only a school district does? We are in California. Does anyone have suggestions how to take this test? Thanks alot.

Can you call the Naglieri company and ask them where? They should know since they're the ones who sell the test.
    To order, call (800) 328-5999.

    Good luck!

Well, you are a genius! I called the Pearson Company and they said- only school districts have it, SOL. They said rarely private psychologist have it but they don't have a list of those psychologists. They have an online version but that again is only offered through schools.
    So...

Is there a reason not to just ask his school to administer it or are you homeschooling?

No, he goes to public school. They didn't seem too interested in doing this.

Where is your local university? They offer the Naglieri?

LOL! Could you memo my children on that genius thing?

The next step I can think of to do is to start spiraling out and calling school districts nearby to ask if they would administer it for a fee to an out of district child. Unless, of course, you can find a university or private tester who would be willing to order it and administer it!

You could also try contacting any local or state associations for gifted children to see if they have any leads for you.
