Hello - D11, is in sixth grade and can take CTY Math/Science courses. The Life Sciences course is individually paced and expected to take 3 months to complete. How intense are these courses? Can she take an Honors course during the school year? The estimate by CTY is 3 - 5 hours per week. Is this correct?

    many thanks,
    elemom

    Hi Elemon,
I wish I knew. I'll bump up this thread and see if we can catch the atention of someone who does. If that doesn't work, can you ask CTY to give you the names of 3 moms who can act as references? Can you get CTY to agree to let you freeze the class if it's too intense and take in the following summer?

Can you do a trial run this summer?

    Love and More Love,
    Grinity
