fyi, for folks on the fence about the SENG conference due to very young kids, here is a note from one of the organizers, she said feel free to pass on the info...

"Dear Chris,
You will be one of many parents with younger children, and they often both register and trade off attending sessions throughout the day. The hotel has excellent accommodations, and I am planning to offer a space for parents to entertain their younger children while getting to meet other parents and younger children at the same time. Children will need to be accompanied at all times by a parent in order to use this room, as it will not be staffed. It is our hope that this gives the younger set a fun place to interact with other youngsters, a place for parents to make new friends and acquaintances, and convenience for all by providing a fun zone in the near vicinity of the conference session rooms so that parents can easily come and go to sessions if they are taking turns watching their younger children.

Also take note that the Marriott is sponsoring a Dive-In Movie at the pool on Thursday evening for all SENG families. Children and adults alike can swim, watch a family-friendly movie, meet new friends, and snack on popcorn. This is a wonderful way to start the conference experience!

We hope to meet you in Orlando!

Warmly,

Amy Price
