Had a meeting with DD's k teacher this morning. She was really prepared and had a whole plan to start dd on first grade spelling and more advanced writing with even a plan for where to go next. She went over how math is going towards "real math" as dd calls it, and how there's even another kid doing the similar advanced work, so she won't be the only one doing this stuff. I also received a bunch of help with where to direct her homework/homeschool work (it's a four day charter). I am feeling so, so grateful for this school right now! Thank you for helping me be brave enough to just ask.
