Anyone been to a SENG conference? What were your thoughts? What about the children's program? I have a DD13 who I think would be better off in a teen program but they have the age limit at 15. So any thoughts would be really appreciated and if you rather pm me that would be fine. Thank-you ahead of time.

I think all the conferences are locally organized, so I would expect them to vary quite a bit. I recommend that you call and ask the organizers if your DD13 could sign up for the teen program. The worst they can say is 'no.' If you go, bring your address book, (and maybe 'business cards' )and consider yourself 'on the prowl' to make contact with potential parent-mentors and compatible families - that way no matter what is being presented, you have your own long term agenda.

I've only been to one SENG conference, and I liked it very much. I didn't bring DS, so I can't comment on the children's program. Best Wishes and please let us know how it went.

    Smiles,
    Grinity
