Has anyone had any positive results using neurofeedback instead of meds for ADHD/gifted child?

I would be interested in this too.

I have been wondering about coming up with some fun games to teach ds6 how to handle things like transitions or paying attention so he can "train his brain." For example, explain in advance that he will get a really cool toy to play with but when I say a code word, he'll have 1 minute before the transition to the next thing. If he makes the transition quickly, he'll get the toy back after the second activity is over. When we are "in the moment" it is nearly impossible to break his focus without a great deal of effort and creativity. Anyone try anything like this?
