I have a HG DS9 in 3rd Grade. He is doing 3rd & 4th Grade Math this year. I am looking for a articles or books stating benefits and/or drawback to Saxon Math for the gifted elementary students.

I have one reference from Teaching kids in the regular classroom that states how Saxon can be condensed with gifted kids.

I also have the Developing Math talent book. This book gives some alternative programs for gifted students which may be beneficial to my DS if I can sell the school on the idea. Other references would be appreciated.
