I don't think I will let school know DS was just accepted into DYS until I need to. Our school was a bit uncomfortable about it all. But, I was wondering if anyone did this and how?

I did the same. Suddenly rather than being faced with a mom making claims about their child, the school has concrete evidence from an outside source that agrees. It seems to give a lot of validity to your claim and help in advocacy.
