DS in 3rd needs more challenge and just called our public school to see what they offer.
The G&T teacher said most of the kids she sees are in 130IQ range. Is this much different from a 140IQ?
also this public school offers 3.75 hrs.per week vs. what we now have 40 hrs. G&T pullout, and currently he is up a grade for Math with 20 min. a wk pull out for instruction on this.
I was just wondering if anyone thought this would be better for him? I know this is just a little info., Maybe not enough to go on. I might need a guide for figuring if a school is a good fit.
Would you think because they offer more than our private school they would know how to deal with him better?
