The other evening we had a really bad storm and the tv's went out. So, to entertain my children especially my 22 month old lil girl I started signing that tune from the Letter Factory, "The A say AH the A says AH every letter makes a sound the A says....AH". Well, to my surprise my 22 month old starting singing too. I would go "The B says" and she would say the sound without me saying it. We did this all the way through the alphabet.

I told my husband that our 22 month old DD knows her letter sounds. He asked me if I was sure. I said yes. So, he starts asking her what does the B say, what does the D say what does the H say skipping letters and just mixing the letters up. She answered him correctly every time.

My son who is 7 and wil be 8 at the end of the month counted to 100 by himself when he was 22 months old. Now my lil girls knows her letters sounds at 22 months old. I guess 22 months old is a good age in our family. So, here we go again with another child who learns fast.

That is very exciting. My kids loved the letter and Math factory too. I was very intimidated to teach ponics so that was wonderful.

Thats awsome! DD LOVED Letter Factory, Talking Word Factory, Math Circus, and now she is really into storybook Factory (although I am not loving it like I did some of the others...seems more fluff to me, but hey she enjoys it) smile
