    Ania-

I have heard nothing but great reviews on mathpath. The one comment that kept me from considering it for my son this year was that the kids have to be pretty independent, and some of younger or 2e kids have some organizational challenges that make it a bit tougher for them. Since my son would be on the young side and is 2e, I decided that we'll wait on mathpath. I have talked with a parent whose child attended last year at 13 and loved it, in addition to all the talk heard online.

    hth-

Ghost is working on problems, but I do not think he will attend this year if admitted. Several reasons.
Lorel -is your kid doing the problems?

I finally looked up Math Path and it's so cool. I'll have to keep it in mind for DS 9 when a couple years from now (minimum age 11).

No, we never went that far into the application process. They do look very challenging!

    Those questions are really cool.
I think that I will pay and have Ghost send in the solutions, just to see how many he gets right, or close to...
He is definitely not going this year - trip to Europe plus it is so far away from us. If next year brings them closer, we might consider, it will be the last year he will be eligable.
This year I will take my kids to Prague. I have never been there, and after Florence this is the one european city that I have always wanted to visit. My kids already like Chech cartoons, or cartoon like movies. They are eager to go there!

Cym, you mentioned a trip to China for your son in some other thread. Would you mind saying more ?
