I saw an older post with gift ideas and thought I would start a new one for holiday 2022!

My criteria would be toys/games/activities that are:
    open ended
    Intellectually stimulating
Sturdy so they can be used over and over again

Would love to hear your favorites & recommendations!

Here are a few I recommend:

Pattern play & pattern play 3D

Pattern Play: Bright Colors by MindWare

MindWare Pattern Play 3D – Recreate The 40 Design Cards on Your own – 22pc Wooden Block Pattern Puzzle for Kids and Adults – Classic Educational Shape Toys for classrooms

My kids particularly love the 3D. One of my kids started playing with it at 2… and he’s still going strong at 7. There is a range of challenge in the building cards.

    Schylling Wooden Stacking Robot Figures
We have 2 sets and put them on our coffee table when we have guests. They’re very engaging for all ages, groups or by yourself.
