While the gifted enter many professions, medicine and law may be two which are stereotypically of great interest.

This law school had the widest gap between student debt and graduate earnings

If high debt:income places upward pressure on billing rates and quantities, then there's probably some pass-through to clients. A sort of ripple effect.

Deborah Rhode wrote about the paradoxical oversupply of lawyers and simultaneous lack of access to representation by those of modest means. Among her suggestions was the need to expand the services paraprofessionals can offer, which a number of states are now piloting.

Just some other food for thought.
