Thank you all so much. I have contacted the district and school to start the conversation about what is possible. I’m to fill out a document with information about her traits and development to date. They will then administer an olsat as an eligibility step for district GT program eligibility. Her preschool WPPSI scores are too old. I sent the school an email asking for information about what they can do during the core curriculum. Kindergarten is a mandatory year here in the sense that opting out of kindergarten requires homeschool. Pre-covid the school said it was working very hard to improve its attendance because that data is used to score the school at a state level. I’m not sure whether they’ll have any more flexibility on that in the future.

I will use your collective suggestions as a reference when I’m talking to the school.
