I ordered the Singapore Math challenging word problems books for DD9 to do over the summer. She did 5 and 6 with little difficulty, which was fine, but I think she wants some more challenge. She accelerated from 4th grade math last year to 7th grade this year. I'm not sure if Singapore math is the way to go again for this year, or if we should look into another type of program altogether? I also wonder what level math she should be doing after Singapore 6? Does that equate to 7th grade in schools?
I don't think we need a whole curriculum, but having a book to introduce new concepts and spark her interest would be great.
