Sorry if this question has been answered before, but are there any communities geared toward gifted young adults (around 18-26 years of age) that don't require you to join as a kid and then "age" into them? Specifically, communities outside of Mensa (which I won't join for various personal reasons; nothing against them) that meet online fairly regularly? I was formally identified at 19, but I still want to connect with some gifted peers around my age.

    Thanks in advance!

Hm. Most of the ones I can think of fall into your aged-into-them category. Perhaps you could try an interest-group in your area of academic or avocational focus? Those who plunge deepest and most intensely into interests often have at least some GT traits.
