A friend of mine is applying for DYS. Her child is right on the borderline. She asked me a question about the application and I've only had 1 child apply and he was solidly within the qualifications. So I thought I'd ask here. If she applies for her child and isn't accepted or is asked to reapply, does she have to submit another recommendation and a whole new application? Or does she just update scores?

My DD10 is 3 points below their qualification criteria, and DS9 is 4 points below. We applied in May, and they gave us six months to provide additonal information without restarting the application. I will be sending the additional information soon.

I think after the six months, she would have to completely reapply.

Thanks for getting back to me! Can I ask, what additional information you are providing? Another test? Portfolio stuff? Feel free to PM if you prefer.

I sent you a PM. I'm not sure if you saw it.
