Has anyone heard of the Mathematics and Education Society (MES)?

Evidently it was established twenty years ago (1998) and has held biannual international conferences...
MES10 is planned for Jan-Feb 2019 in India.
MES8 was held in Portland, Oregon, USA in 2015.

What is presented at these conferences? Here is an example:
shift from thinking of mathematics as a noun to mathematx as a verb
    ...
a movement against objects, truths, and knowledge towards a way of being in the world
    ...
a range of issues associated with the imposition of Western mathematics on indigenous groups

When thinking of possible future directions which may be taken in personalized learning and math education, this 17-page report from the July 2018 "Journal of Mathematics Education" may be of interest.
