Our dysgraphic ds attended several years of CTY Intensive Studies summer camps - he took science courses, was allowed to use all of his accommodations, the disabilities people at the campus he was at were wonderful, and his teachers were wonderful. Even better (for our ds) was that he found his people there, and that in turn helped his self-confidence grow in a way that enabled him to find more of his place back here in his high school. I know I probably sound like a CTY salesperson, but truly, they were the best investment we ever made for our 2e kid, and his only regret was that he could no longer attend once he was a senior in high school.

eta - we don't have any experience with SIG other than getting a lot of emails from them
The reason we chose CTY was that's the program that people tend to choose in our area. I think Duke also has summer camps through TIP.
and another eta.... I don't know what's available in your area, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out summer camps at your state university (depending on what's offered)... ds attended our state uni's middle school camp for two years... there was no "gifted" requirement but the courses were challenging anyway mostly because you (student) could make of it what you wanted to (very project oriented) and they were very accommodating of disabilities - ds wasn't the only 2e kid in the small crowd
