    Hello!

Does anyone have an opinion about public schools in Shoreline? They seem to have a HiCap magnet program for elementary school kids only; after that there are only honors/AP classes like in any other public schools. Even comparing test results from, say, Meridian Elementary School (in Shoreline) and Cascadia Elementary (in Seattle), Cascadia's are quite a lot better. Not sure what to make of this, if anything. Anyone know anything about the level of teaching and other factors for Shoreline?

    Many thanks in advance!

I don't have any particular knowledge of Meridian Park (Shoreline is usually well regarded but probably a bit less than the usual Eastside cities.) But comparing Cascadia to it by test scores is not interesting. Cascadia is a self contained school and Meridian Park is not. You'd expect the average to be lower in a building with both gened and HC rooms.
