I'm understanding that difference between my kids, too. DD likes to share the learning, to see a demonstration and have that 'ah-ha!', DS just absorbs what he sees or reads and wants to figure it out himself (give him an overview and he'll go back thru and figure it out). Not that either is hard and fast either way, just overall tendencies.
