My husband just received a surprise job offer in Atlanta. Can someone tell me about the schools there? Several points - we are an Asian/Caucasian family, and younger daughter is grade skipped/2E so we need good EF support and diversity. After hearing that some cities take away grade skips, I really want to do my homework about schools!!! BTW - our daughters are both in middle school.
He also has an interview in DC. Besides needing loads of cash to live there, what can someone tell me about schooling? Best suburbs for the above reasons?

Do you know if you are moving to Atlanta? If so, what side of town are you considering? We live south of the Atlanta airport. I can offer a few suggestions. There are a couple of options for private schools, if you are considering that route.
