So you guys I need to make an appt. with my own psych, clearly. I sent the e-mail just asking for WISC scores, which frankly I think is perfectly reasonable to request, again considering school gets out May 21. But now I am sitting here thinking that she is not gifted at all and I will feel really stupid if she is like, just a perfectly even sort of bright kid and my concerns have nothing to do with giftedness. Blergh.
edited to add: I am not invested in her being gifted, but that would seem to explain some things. I am invested in understanding her and meeting her needs.

So, May 14th it is. Psych says it is her practice to not disclose scores without full report and face to face mtg. Also pointed to policy about notifying her in advance of deadlines. I really hate having "policy" cited. And I just seriously never imagined the report would take 4 weeks. Oh well. I could have paid 1/4 and had the report within a few days. But, I am sure when we finally do get the info. it will be worth the wait.
