    Hello all,

My kids (DD8 and DS6) got interested in playing chess. They like chesskids.com to play chess against online community when they are on computer, but I am also looking into an Ipad application to play chess (feel it will be more valuable to play chess instead of fruit ninja ;-))

Please let me know if your kid likes an ipad app for chess.

    Thanks,

We're Android, but we like Chess Free, which I think is available for iPad.

Speaking of ChessKid, has anyone paid for the gold membership? DS6 has sort of exhausted the free learning content. He has tons of books and workbooks, but is not that engaged by them and prefers the more interactive online stuff.

Thanks ultramarine, I will check into Chess Free for Ipad.

We don't have paid membership. We are kind of new to the site and hasn't exhausted free content yet, but I might consider gold membership as kids seem to be very engaged to play there.
