Not familiar with Cyberchase but another vote for Scooby. There used to be some Scooby software for kids to help Mystery Inc solve cases. I think we had difficulty running it on newer PCs for our youngest - the most recent title was probably from 10 years ago. DD17 stills loves Scooby Doo. She likes both the old episodes and the latest series, Mystery Incorporated. I think parents familiar with Scooby would like the latest series (a lot of humorous pokes at the original series).

They never liked Caillou. And they didn't understand why the parents named their kid "Pebble".

I know...he was bald, too. And never aged. Oh well...didn't stop the 'Caillou isn't on' tantrums. I have only hazy memories of it, but it was quite the odd show.

I liked the oldest Scoobys myself but the Scrappy Doo ones were good too. And then Scrappy turned out be a villan and I think there was some literal crying going on.

I have to say I never liked Scrappy. I thought he was arrogant and a little too into himself. I did like Scooby, though.

aeh, hopefully you have seen the live action Scooby Doo movie. It confirms your thoughts on Scrappy.
