While we are waiting for the big meeting with the school to see if we can get DD accelerated into 5th, our psychologist wants us to hurry up and get "supplemental enrichment" material for DD9 to use in class. She even mentioned online courses. She is so worried about DD being unhappy at school. I am so glad that someone finally "gets it" about DD!!
I am looking for ideas for language arts and science (no math - we are good with that). What have you all supplied to the schools? DD can work well alone on the computer if the subjects are interesting. I also need to be able to sell these ideas to a teacher who is not the most open and welcoming person around so the work needs to be what in my field they call "evidence based". This teacher needs to see the value of what I am offering.
    Thanks!

DS8 loves working with "mapping the world with art" at home. Hours of geography fun!
