DS9's psych just called with his KTEA mathematical subtest results (the only ones he took per request). His math problem solving was in the 95th percentile. His math reasoning was off the charts and >99.9th percentile. Overall is percentile rank was 99.8th percentile. I have not received the standard scores yet. The psych said I should receive them by Tuesday in the mail with his suggestions.

I know this is awesome but what exactly does it mean? I am very impatient for the full report!

What I mean by my last question is what is the normal standard score with the 99.8th percentile? 140? 145?

It looks like 143 or 144 are the possible scores corresponding to the 99.8th percentile.

    Mps 95% = 124
    Mr 99.9% = 145+
    M 99.8 = 143

The actual scores could be a point either way, except for mr, which is at least 145.

Thanks aeh. I knew his math reasoning would be high but when the psych called he said he was completely off the charts. He said the max score to earn was 160 and if there was an extended scale he would have been well past that. I don't know the scoring but I was very surprised.
