Cammom... too funny!! We have plenty of those moments over here as well.
I'm sure the psych will rec acceleration for him and I have read the research but he's really immature/easily frustrated with attention concerns and some sensory stuff. I can't completely picture him in 2nd grade at this point. And, regardless, while I don't have achievement results yet I do see what he's reading at home and it's well above 2nd grade and has been for some time. I just can't see how this would "work" where he is now (K-3 public school).
