Does anyone read the Federal Register? It is easily found through web searches. It can be interesting to skim this “Daily Journal of the United States Government” for entries by the Education Department, especially issues related to gifted education, college and career readiness, standardized testing, etc… frequent topics of discussion on the forums.

Currently listed among the “Most Viewed / Most E-mailed” is an RFI on education and career pathways, which may be of interest.

Today's Federal Register includes several entries regarding Education. With standardized assessments being discussed in several recent posts, the work of the National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) and National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) may be of interest.

The Board is established to formulate policy guidelines for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
