Gifted Issues Discussion homepage Forums Identification, Testing & Assessment Looking for SB-V tester in Chicagoland: advice?

Hi all,

Our son will be turning five soon, and for various reasons (a potential DYS application, potential school admission, and just for our information), we want to get his IQ assessed. Does anyone have recommendations for psychologists in the Chicagoland area who are familiar with testing HG/PG kids with the Stanford Binet? Or, conversely, anyone who you would suggest we avoid?

Also, if anyone has general advice about how to choose a psychologist for an IQ assessment, I'd love to hear what you think!
