School psych read the report and will accept GAI.
DS will get to do the gifted program. She expressed shock at his huge gap between PSI and VCI (uh yeah - I've been telling you ... I SEE this gap in his every day life!) After all that I hope he likes it and makes a few more friends through it. I heard the GT program at the elementary level is "fun" and I noticed they have things like greek mythology and robotics on their list of topics so I think it will be a nice experience for DS.
I actually have more good news - DS likes the new differentiated math group (likes the math but says the teacher is too serious LOL. I said give her a few weeks I bet she loosens up).
Also he seems to be doing really well with typing much of his work.
