Since there have been many posts about how smart we are, I was just thinking. I wouldn't mind some interaction on a more profitable level and maybe we could make some money to pay for those college years.

I will start. I am looking at oil, is it getting toppy? I am not sure if it will have new huge ride up next week, or we roll over for a bounce. July options expire June 17, so the volatility is killing but taking out the time, would cheapen the bet. So I am watching it trying to get feel for the momentum.

Any good ideas would be appreciated.

    Ren

There are many ways to be smart and many ways to pay for college. Investing is not my route.

My trick is that I married a guy who teaches college, guaranteeing waived tuition at at least the school he teaches at and usually many more.

If the alternative is to be a dumb one instead of a smart one, then yes, I'd say it counts. wink

Sorry, Wren, can't help you there. I find that these days since it's my own money I'm investing, I'm much more conservative.

    Have fun.

    Wren,
I'm in the industry and I think you are in the investor/financial side smile Oil is going to go up until we get the dollar stabilized against international currency smile

But it is too rich a market for me to get into. College costs are one of those head in the sand issues for me yet...
