Finally, an update to Lego Mindstorms - I have been waiting for this for a couple of years to teach my DD8 something about programming. The immediate feedback that being able to program a moving device would present should be a boon.
The truth is, my thoughts about what ought to be a good idea don't always mesh well with reality.

Can you give any of you give me your input based on your experiences of earlier versions of Lego Mindstorms, please? Did you get the results that you were hoping for? What were the shortcomings and how did you address them? That sort of stuff.
