    I think Sitton Spelling, used in our school, is too easy in general and certainly too easy for my 4th-grader son. Here is a list of Sitton 4th grade spelling words:

    What is a good, challenging spelling program? I suppose spelling and vocabulary should be integrated.

    My daughter's school uses Words Their Way. http://www.amazon.com/Words-Their-Way-Vocabulary-Instruction/dp/013223968X They say that they supplement this series with Latin and Greek root words for the super spellers. My dd is not a super speller. LOL!
