Broadly speaking, university in Canada is a 4-year honours undergraduate. “College” is vocational and technical programming, generally in an accredited trade and culminating in a 2-year diploma. Graduate school typically includes a 1- or 2-year master’s degree before a doctorate. Professional programs tend to be analogous to credentialing in the US.
