Was just reading aquinas's brag post...which being from our Northern friends reminded me of small DC:

During a lesson on spelling French loan words (mainly, I admit, because an unnamed homeschooling parent who may or may not post to this forum feels a compulsion to finish the last level of AAS, even though DC knows all the pretest words for every lesson--we only have four lessons left!), it is observed that DC insists on spelling "honor" as "honour" (and so on). Accompanied by a tiny asterisk, and a footnote "British spelling". We've also had discussions about the appropriate number of "l"s in words.
