YAY!! The more the merrier! I was looking at the roles of DYS a couple f days ago and found a new kiddo listed for our state. I contacted his mom and we are going to get our boys together in a couple of weeks. DS might finally have a peer!

The Summer Institute is put on each year by the New Mexico Association of the Gifted. It's 3 days of presentations on all sorts of gifted related subjects. My head hurts from sheer information overload!

Sorry I havn't written back in so long. I think the hand flapping thing is dying down a bit. And now thinking back on it, she was very excited while doing it, I was just attributing it to being bored. I read up on over-exitability with gifted kids

My DD6 definitely made some major leaps in her physical development this year. After refusing to get on a bike since birth, she is now riding (with training wheels, but she's on it!!!). Two days ago she figured out how to swing without being pushed.

Funny story! Today we went to visit my Grandmother in the hospital, she fell and injured her back. She's ok but they admitted her because she's 91 and they just want to watch her. Anyways, Jimmy asked her what number her pain was! I started grinn

We submitted for July 1 and just found out today (due to email going to spam folder, stupid gmail!) he was accepted! Now to fill out the enrollment form and send it in!!
